Two things to know
The inbox is the phone's backup. If you did not allow notifications, the phone was off or the notification got lost, the record still lands here. Which alert, when, at what price — it is all on the row. You manage the permission from your account page.
Read ones are kept for ninety days. A notification you have read deletes itself after ninety days; the ones you have not read wait until you see them — however old they get.
