Without an account
You need no account to see prices, and while you browse signed out nothing is recorded against you. The server keeps an access log, as every web server does (address, time, page requested); it exists to watch the server's health. We also measure, without cookies, which pages and features are used — see "Usage measurement" below. This site is operated from Türkiye and is subject to Turkish data protection law (KVKK); the rights described below are the ones that law gives you, and we honour them for every visitor regardless of country.
When you open an account
Only the following is kept:
- Your email address and — if you entered it — your name.
- If you signed in with Google or Apple, the account identifier that service issued; with Google, also the address of your Google profile photo.
- Your sessions: which browser or device each was opened on (the short text a browser introduces itself with), when it was opened and last seen. The session list on your account page is made of these; a session's record is deleted when it ends. An account stays signed in on one device at a time: when a sign-in elsewhere closes a session, only a digest of its token is kept, until the session would have expired, so that device can be told why.
- The alerts you set: which instrument, which level, which direction, and your note if any.
- If you used the My holdings page: how much of which instrument you hold, and your purchase price and note if you entered them. These records are tied to your account alone, and your total is computed in your browser, not on the server.
- The list of instruments you starred.
- Your plan, its end date, the start date of your free trial if you started one, and the date of your Premium request if you left one.
- If you subscribed in the app, the App Store or Google Play subscription record: the product, its end date and the transaction identifier that binds the subscription to one account (on Google Play a digest of it, not the identifier itself). Apple or Google takes the payment; your card details never reach us.
- Your preferences: language, display currency, morning brief, alerts by email, quiet nights and the calendar reminder; the day the morning brief, the quiet-night summary, the welcome email and the trial reminder were sent.
- If you allowed notifications: on the web, the push address and keys your browser issued; in the app, your phone's notification token (issued by Apple on an iPhone, by Google on Android) and the device type.
- What you wrote in the "Ask a question" box: the text, and the page and language it was sent from.
- The notification record of fired alerts: its title, one line of text and the price it fired at.
- If you used Sade AI, the day's message counter (without any message text).
We do not sell any of this, use none of it for advertising, and share it with no one beyond the service providers listed below.
Notifications
A push notification reaches your phone through the server of your browser's maker (Google, Apple, Mozilla) — that is how web notifications work. The message that travels this way is encrypted and carries only the notification's title, one line of text and the link to open. Nothing else about your account passes along that route. In the app, a notification travels through the phone's own service — Apple Push Notification service on an iPhone, Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android — and again carries only the title, one line of text and the page to open.
When you open an account you get one welcome email, and if you start the free trial, a single reminder two days before it ends. If you switched on alerts by email or the morning brief, those go to your account's address too; you can switch them off on your account page. Beyond these we send no email, marketing message or newsletter.
Usage measurement
To improve the site and the app we measure which pages and screens are opened, which features are used and where people stop while setting up an alert or a subscription. The measurement runs on Umami, open-source software on our own server; nothing is sent to another company.
No cookie is written and your IP address is not stored: a visit's identity is derived from the address with a key that changes every day, and the address is dropped. With the visit we record the browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and an approximate location at country, region and city level worked out from the address. If you are signed in, the measurement is linked to your account's internal number — not your e-mail or name — so that we can see how members use a feature. Search terms, alert levels, amounts and your holdings never enter it; only which feature was used and how it ended is recorded.
Our basis is our legitimate interest in improving the service. Measurement records are kept for at most 13 months; once you delete your account, the internal number can no longer be matched to anyone. If you do not want it, switch it off below (the same switch is under Profile in the app); nothing is sent from that device.
Sade AI (the AI assistant)
Sade AI answers signed-in members' questions by looking at the stored price history and today's newspaper headlines. It runs only when you write and send a message; until you do, nothing is sent. Its answers are produced by Anthropic's Claude model (United States), so your messages travel abroad, to Anthropic's servers. Before the first message you are asked to agree to this transfer; your agreement is kept on that device only, and if you do not agree, nothing is sent.
What goes to Anthropic:
- The messages you write in the chat and the last few messages of the same conversation.
- Your interface language and — if you are on an instrument's page — that instrument's symbol.
- The data the assistant reads to answer, all of it already public: the stored prices, the price history and the news headlines.
- For an alert or holding card, the instrument, level and amount you wrote in your sentence.
What does not go: your email address, your name, your account's number, your saved alerts and holdings, your notification keys, your IP address and your device details. Do not write an ID, card or account number in the chat.
Our server does not keep your messages or the answers. What is kept is only this: a daily counter, held under a digest of your account's internal number and without any message text, so that your daily allowance can be counted; daily usage counts linked to no account (number of messages, topic, the kind of request Sade AI cannot handle yet, and the Helpful / Not helpful votes you give replies); and a cost record showing what an AI call cost (your account appears only as a short digest, and no text is in it). An alert or holding card waits at most 15 minutes in the server's memory and is written to your account only when you press "Apply". The conversation itself stays in your browser; it is deleted when you close or reload the page, sign out or press "New chat". Usage measurement counts only that Sade AI was opened, that a question was asked and that a card was applied; the content of the messages never enters it.
Sade AI describes what happened; it gives no forecast and no investment advice, and says so at the end of every answer. The chat is open to all members and Premium members get a higher daily allowance; setting an alert or adding a holding by sentence is for Premium members only. In the Android app, where age is asked, Sade AI is not shown to users under 13.
Children
The Sade Fiyat app is open to users of every age. On first launch the Android app asks once for your year of birth; the year stays on your phone and is never sent to us.
For users under 13, creating an account and signing in are turned off in the Android app, usage measurement never runs and newspaper headlines are not shown; prices, charts, calculators, the calendar and the articles stay open. So no personal data is collected from a user under 13 beyond the access log the server keeps for every visit. To open an account on the website or in the iPhone app you must be over 13.
A parent who finds that a child under 13 has opened an account can write to destek@sadefiyat.com and ask for it to be deleted; the account and every record tied to it are deleted.
Service providers and transfer abroad
Your data is kept on our server in Hetzner Online GmbH's data centre in Finland (Helsinki), that is, outside Türkiye. Emails are sent through Google's email sending service. For signing in with Google or Apple, for notifications and for in-app subscriptions, Google and Apple do that part of the work and see only what that part needs. The messages you write to Sade AI are answered by Anthropic (United States); what is sent is listed in the "Sade AI" section above, and the transfer happens only when you write and send a message.
These companies process your data on our behalf. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for advertising or tracking, and there are no advertising tools or other companies' tracking tools on the site or in the app. Usage measurement runs on our own server (above).
For how long
Read notifications are deleted after 90 days; unread ones stay until you see them. Alerts stay until you delete them. You need not write to anyone to delete anything: the button on your account page permanently deletes your alerts, holdings, watchlist, notifications, questions and profile, ends your sessions and closes your account. It shows on screen how many records were deleted. The same button is in the app.
An in-app subscription record is the one exception: so that the same subscription cannot be bound to a second account, it stays with the product, the end date and the deleted account's internal number; it holds neither your email nor your name. If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove this app's access under "Sign in with Apple" in your Apple ID settings.
Before deleting — or simply to see it — the Download my data button on the same page gives you your profile, alerts, holdings, watchlist, notifications, browser notification devices and questions as one JSON file. The file is assembled in your browser and no copy stays on the server; only the encryption keys of your notification devices are left out, because they are credentials belonging to your browser.
About the prices
The prices on this site are for information only and are not investment advice. Some values, such as the dollar rate and gram gold, are not observed directly; they are computed from the dollar and gold pairs on crypto exchanges. A jeweller's or a bank's buy and sell prices differ from them because of workmanship and the spread. Computed values are marked with ƒ on the site.
