The lira value of one gram of pure gold: ounce price × dollar/lira ÷ 31.1035. A computed reference, not a price any dealer quotes.

The price in a jeweller's window sits above this: workmanship, margin and the buy-sell spread are added. The figure on this page is the reference point that negotiation starts from — not the amount you will pay.
What moves it
Because an ounce of gold trades in dollars, this price has two legs: the ounce and the dollar/lira rate. Both move at once and sometimes cancel each other out.
